White Pippin Apple is a historic fruit cultivar documented by the U.S. Department of Agriculture between 1886 and 1942. 9 watercolour studies of it survive in the collection, with specimens recorded from Maryland, Anne Arundel; Ohio, Ross, South Salem; Indiana, Putman, Greencastle, painted by Shull, James Marion, Passmore, Deborah Griscom, Newton, Amanda Almira. The paintings served as official botanical identification records before colour photography.
