Blenheim Apple
Blenheim Orange arose about 1740 near Woodstock, Oxfordshire, England. Large, flat and orange-red over gold, it has crisp, dry, distinctly nutty flesh that works equally for the dessert plate and the kitchen — a dual-purpose apple admired across the 19th century.
