Flemish Beauty Pear

Historical USDA watercolour of the Flemish Beauty Pear pear, painted 1840–1875

Flemish Beauty is a Belgian pear from the early 1800s, large and yellow blushed with red. Its sweet, musky, juicy flesh made it widely popular in the 19th century, though susceptibility to scab later reduced its commercial planting.
